This time round we've got a collaboration of two of the finest minds in UK Hip Hop today...
Asaviour aka Savvy and former Junior DMC champ DJ IQ.

A few months back they created the incredible A Loop Theory. Too many albums these days are classed as groundbreaking but this has the right to be tagged with this title. Combining Hip Hop, broken beat, jazz and anything else they could throw in the pot this is dope project all round.

As ever, Basement Sessions were hot on the trail, and managed to track down the duo for a great interview!

Definately check it out, and be sure to spread the word. In the meantime check out Asaviour's label Saving Grace:

AND check out DJ IQ's Pimp My Mix! This is one for the i-pods people -

In the discussion board Street Soul Productions have created the first installment of an on-going section called MUSICOLOGY.

This first started in early 2008 as an email based group where each week a track was sent out to everyone and then any feedback given would scuplt the track chosen for the following week.

Now Musicology has met the Facebook revolution!
We have set up an exclusive weekly downloadble section for you all to enjoy.

From old classics to classics of the future you will be able to download the orginal samples from past and present Hip Hop.

Check out the discussion board and enjoy!
